Atlanta, Georgia 2004 Gathering October 15 - 17, 2004

Due to the illness of our chairman, Caroline Burtt, the 2004 USA Arbuthnot Family Gathering
has been moved from Sacramento, CA to the Atlanta, GA area,
to coincide with the Stone Mountain Highland Games & Scottish Festival,
15-17 October 2004 at Stone Mountain Park.
 
ACCOMMODATION
We have reserved a block of 30 rooms at the Holiday Inn Select Hotel
located at 130 Clairemont Avenue in Decatur, GA  30030. 
The Holiday Inn is a full-service hotel with restaurant, bar,
indoor heated swimming pool, exercise room and banquet rooms. All rooms have Internet access.

Reservations should be made by 15 September 2023
directly with the hotel at  1-800-Holiday or local number 404-371-0204. 
Rooms are reserved under "Arbuthnot Family Association." 
Rooms are available 14 October for those who want to arrive early.
 
Room rate is $89.00 plus tax and includes 2 full buffet breakfasts per room in the hotel restaurant.

There is a $5.00 per day parking fee.  You may come and go as often as you like.

Registration in the hotel lobby. 
Dinner is on your own, but it would be nice to dine together in the hotel restaurant around 7:00 p.m.

SATURDAY, 16 October 2004:  Buffet breakfast 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in hotel restaurant.

The Stone Mountain Highland Games & Scottish Festival
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to  5:00 p.m.  Adults $14.00, Children $4.00, Parking $8.00.

BANQUET at Holiday Inn. 
6:00 p.m. Social hour with cash bar
7:00 p.m. Buffet dinner
Business meeting following dinner.

 SUNDAY, 17 October  2004:  Buffet breakfast 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in hotel  restaurant.
 
The Stone Mountain Highland Games & Scottish Festival
hours remain 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Adults  $12.00 on Sunday, Children $4.00, Parking $8.00.
 
There are other attractions at Stone Mountain Park other than the games
and also many other attractions in the Atlanta area. 
We will have more information on these at registration.
