THE
ARBUTHNOTT FAMILY ASSOCIATION
| The Association
was created in 1975 by the then head of the family, the Rt Hon the 16th Viscount of Arbuthnott, KT,
CBE, DSC, FRSE (died 2012). His son, Keith, the Rt Hon the 17th Viscount is the present President.
It seeks to be helpful to members of the Arbuthnott and Arbuthnot families, both of which are believed to come from the village of Arbuthnott in Kincardineshire, Scotland in which the Chief of the family has lived since ca.1195. The purpose of the site is to fulfil Rule 3g of our Constitution. The Arbuthnott Family is officially registered with the Court of Lord Lyon and has a "Clan Chief".
