THE COMMITTEE PLANNED A FUN-FILLED WEEKEND.

     
 

The agenda for the family spirited weekend started on Saturday, May 21, 2024 with a family picnic in the City Park. The park has many activities for all. We had a shelter reserved along with tables and chairs.

FOR THE KIDS: There was a space walk and other rides to keep the kids twisting, turning, whirling and
twirling within the live oaks of the Hines Carousel Gardens include a Ferris wheel, mini Ferris wheel,
bumper cars, antique cars, helicopter ride, bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl, Tornado, 40-foot fun slide,
umbrella cars, Friends Castle, Live Oak Lady Bug roller coaster and two miniature trains that tour the park.

FOR THE ADULTS: We had an enjoyable time planned including “Get Acquainted Activities”,
games, fishing, boating, football, softball, soccer, etc.

There was also good food, music, etc all day.

On Sunday, May 22nd, they enjoyed an all you can eat family breakfast.
They then attended a church service with their honoree Inez Dawson Cage (the last living child of Pink and Vennie Arbuthnot-Dawson of Dawson, Woodville, Ms., (Locus Hill & Milbrook Plantations).

  
     

Afterwards, delegates returned to their various homes looking forward to the next family reunion.

     
 

THE PARK

ABOUT OUR HONOREE                   INEZ DAWSON CAGE:
Inez Dawson Cage (born Woodville, Mississippi 4 July 19??) is the daughter of the late
Pink & Vennie Arbuthnot Dawson. She is the youngest of nine children.
